The world’s most popular online poker room has rolled out the plans for its Christmas Festival this year, with a combined prize pool of $10 million to be won. PokerStars is giving customers the opportunity to win a share of the Christmas Festival’s huge jackpots through a series of tournaments and special offers.

PokerStars, which claims to have created more millionaires than any other poker site, is offering poker players the chance to avail of great offers during the festive season this year.

The first of the PokerStars Christmas Festival offers is the the 84-event Daily Double Jackpot, which runs from the 16th of November to the 27th of December, and comes with $4.5 million in guaranteed cash prizes. During this series, if a player wins two of the same tournaments on the same day of the same buy-in, they’ll be entitled to a huge $1 million bonus prize as reward.

As well as this, PokerStars will be making a spontaneous award to one random table of nine players, giving them tournament tickets (valued at $55) into the $250,000 guaranteed tournament, which runs Mondays to Saturdays.

The site has made a similar promise to award a random table (up to nine players) with tickets, each worth $215, to the massive $5 Million Sunday Million tournament. This event runs on the 27th of December at 2.30pm, Eastern Time, and guarantees the winner will walk away with at least $500,000 in cash. The buy-in for this huge tournament remains the same at $215. PokerStars always hosts the largest weekly tournament anywhere in online poker, and their Christmas festive edition will be no different.

The Christmas Festival’s festive calendar will run from the 1st December to the 25th December and each day will have new poker offers, including some old favourites and popular promotions like Golden Sit & Go’s, Milestone Hands, Freerolls, PCA Giveaways, Challenges, and Mega Bonuses. PokerStars customers can find out what is going on each day by visiting the site’s “Challenges” window to see what is happening, and how to get their hands on a prospective share of the prizepool.
